The College of Engineering Women’s Day has been celebrated.

On Thursday, March 9, 2025, under the supervision of Ph.D. First Hito and with the participation of Ph.D. Jasim Mohammed Abdo, President of the University for Scientific and Higher Education Affairs, and a group of professors and administrators, the College of Engineering presented a seminar on the occasion of International Women’s Day.

The seminar focused on discussing the role of women in the Kurdistan region, particularly women who work in scientific fields and their achievements in overcoming challenges and contributing to their own progress.

The seminar, under the title “Empowering Women, Strengthening Society,” was led by Mrs. Dima Zahir Jaqsi, who provided insights and preparation for the event. The seminar discussed the role of women and the barriers they face in their paths, as well as solutions to overcome these challenges.
